Just turn on the camera, press start, and... walk. OpenSpace’s software will automatically capture images every half second and link them to the project’s drawings. No need for a professional construction photographer. The OpenSpace Vision Engine will get smarter over time: after a few walks, most projects can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes (without considering hours or days).
With OpenSpace Field Notes, you can use your phone to add images and note details while walking – and our software will automatically attach them to locations on the drawings. Use Field Notes to quickly track hole locations, items of note, RFIs... Attach additional files, PDFs, and other documents. Keep your conversations organized while providing complete documentation and eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails or calls by adding comments directly. You can also add deadlines to receive notifications.
OpenSpace works with the devices you already have — we support Ricoh Theta, Insta360, and Garmin Virb 360. It works with both iOS and Android devices. In addition to automatic 360 video capture, we also support 360-degree still images and mobile phone snapshots. OpenSpace fully supports what you already have.
Track progress in real-time, whether you're in the office or traveling halfway around the world. With Splitscreen, you can select two days to view images of what was in place before pouring concrete or installing walls. Right at the construction site, we can use the mobile display mode to compare current and past conditions.
With OpenSpace, the data is yours, and you can share it the way you want. The system supports creating custom views and allows you to select the data you wish to share. We also offer a handover packaging solution in offline format. And with our automatic reporting feature, OpenSpace can even generate PDF reports in just a few clicks.
OpenSpace software integrates with the tools you use daily. View OpenSpace directly from your project management software’s homepage and export image data directly to RFIs, Issues, and more. We understand that users don't want to re-enter this information multiple times.
With OpenSpace, you can directly compare the real construction site with the 3D BIM model right in your browser. BIM Compare is cloud-based and fully feature-rich: toggle layers, take measurements... everything you want to do with your model.
